Well happy Tuesday ladies!
I'm sitting here in my office thinking about you all and wishing you were here. Myself and Mrs Durnin are working away with all the usual school business and trying to put some plans into place for September. We had hoped that there was going to be a set of guidelines given to schools on Friday by the Minister for Education, but unfortunately that didn't happen. I have no idea when we will get the guidelines, so until then we will just have to work and plan as best we can.
All of the staff are going to come in tomorrow and try to get a few things organised for next year, but we really are a little bit stuck in terms of how much we can plan. We will do our best and see what happens over the summer! Fingers crossed we will be able to open up in August for as many children as possible.
I hope you are all keeping well and doing a bit of schoolwork every day. I know it can be very hard to get motivated, because we have been away from each other for over three months, but please try and do a little bit of English, Irish and Maths especially. I had a lovely weekend visiting my family for my Mam's birthday- I'm still not used to the fact that we can't hug each other... but hopefully if we keep up with all the restrictions for the next few weeks, that might change.
Ok girls, I've work to do here!
Slán,
Ms Greene
