Hi ladies,
I hope you are all keeping well since my last video message. Later that day we heard the news that schools are closed 'until further' notice. This made me really sad....I wish they could give us a date to look forward to, but unfortunately that just isn't possible at the moment. I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed and saying prayers every day, that if everyone sticks to the rules for the next three weeks we'll be back in school in May. Keep following all the rules guys! The only way we'll see each other before the summer is if we work as team and do it together! Go team OLV!
My Easter was ok but I really missed my family and friends. And also my local Tesco ran out of Easter eggs!!! So all I got was a bar of chocolate! I will definitely make up for it next year.
We have been very busy trying to organise food packs for families from OLV over the last few weeks. Your parents might have told you that we had a bit of a disaster with An Post last week. They didn't expect so many packages to land in their depots and they couldn't deliver all the packages we needed them to. So from now on the staff of the schools are going to deliver them to families and organise the school car park as a collection point. Each school is taking it in turns and this week, it's OUR turn! So you never know who might be knocking on your door to deliver your package or who you will see if you are in the car collecting with your family!
Ms Brennan found a lovely challenge for you. Have a look at the video below and see does it inspire you- use a part of a plant or tree to make another picture. Now girls, whatever you do, do NOT go pulling off all the flower heads in your mothers garden or on her balcony! Your mammies will be fit to kill me if you do! Ask her to help you pick one or two that might work. I'm going to try it out too- but I will warn you.... I am pretty useless at art! Some of the teachers might join in with this one too!
Ok, I'm off to work on the delivery routes for the food packages!
