Here's a reminder again of everything happening this month, just in case you missed it yesterday!
June Work Packs
- A new work pack is ready on the School Closure 2020 page on the website, click here to find the work. For June, we have eased the workload for you to be doing at home.
- We would like you to do a smaller bit of English, Irish, Maths every day. We would like you to continue your Daily Well-Being Task and P.E. every day.
- If you go to Ms Hanly/Ms Ferriter for English and Maths groups, their work is included in our work pack.
- Something new starting in June is a daily Whole-School Activity.
What is the Whole School Activity?
- In a drop-down menu on the the School Closure 2020 section, select June Activities Block 1 (or click here) to find a daily Whole-School Activity. These are daily tasks in subjects like history, geography, science, music, drama, art and PE.
- For today, Ms Farrell has a really cool science activity for you to try today!
Daily Well-Being Task
- Keep up your well-being task every day. The Daily Well-being task was set by Ms Brennan today, make sure you give it a shot!
Corrections
- Part of your work for English and Maths for June will be to correct work you have done in E.I.P. and Mental Maths.
- Keep doing your new days each day as normal.
- Starting today, we will post the answers to previous days for you to go back and correct. We would love to correct these with you but unfortunately, at the moment, this isn’t an option for us. You can find these on our blog posts.
Zoom Assembly
- On Thursday Room 3 and Room 8 will be having Zoom assemblies.
- Make sure your parents return the consent/permission forms to Ms Greene ASAP or you will not be allowed to access these assemblies. If your parent(s) has not given an email address to Ms Greene they can fill in this form ASAP.
- Check if your friends have sent back these forms too and remind them if they haven't yet, while they still have time! We are so excited to see you! 😁
A Note from Ms Smith
Hello girls, how are you doing?
I’m looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow on zoom! I’ll have a hard time recognising you, you’ve all probably grown up so much!
I’ll hopefully be chatting with you all today too on the phone! Remember, if a private number calls today, it’s probably me!
Good luck with the work today, how are you finding the new June work?
As always if you need any help leave a comment below, even if it’s just to say hi. If you want to message me privately from a parent's email during school hours, my email is [email protected]
Have a good day,
Ms Smith 😊
A Note from Ms Behan
Hello ladies! How are you today? Where did the sunshine go? At least the rain will make everything look lovely and green again!
I am very excited to see all of you lovely faces on Zoom tomorrow! Make sure you send your form back to Ms Greene so you can take part!
Today the teachers will be making lots and lots of phonecalls so make sure you parents know to answer a call from a private number! If I don't get around to calling you today, then you'll hear from me on Thursday or Friday.
Try your best with the work today! I hope you're finding it easier than the work we set in March, April and May. Let me know if you have any questions! You can also email me from a parent's email address at [email protected].
Have a great day!
Ms Behan 😊
