☀️ Good morning ladies! Welcome back after a lovely long weekend! ☀️

We want to let you know of a few things that are happening in June:

June Work Packs
  • A new work pack is ready on the School Closure 2020 page on the website, click here to find the work. For June, we have eased the workload for you to be doing at home.
  • We would like you to do a smaller bit of English, Irish, Maths every day. We would like you to continue your Daily Well-Being Task and P.E. every day.
  • If you go to Ms Hanly/Ms Ferriter for English and Maths groups, their work is included in our work pack.
  • Something new starting in June is a daily Whole-School Activity.

What is the Whole School Activity?
  • In a drop-down menu on the the School Closure 2020 section, select June Activities Block 1 (or click here) to find a daily Whole-School Activity. These are daily tasks in subjects like history, geography, science, music, drama, art and PE.
  • For today, Ms Cassidy has designed a musical activity for you to try! It looks so fun!

Daily Well-Being Task
  • Keep up your well-being task every day. The Daily Well-being task was set by Ms Fleming today, it is a really nice one, try it out!

Corrections
  • Part of your work for English and Maths for June will be to correct work you have done in E.I.P. and Mental Maths.
  • Keep doing your new days each day as normal.
  • Starting today, we will post the answers to previous days for you to go back and correct. We would love to correct these with you but unfortunately, at the moment, this isn’t an option for us. You can find these on our blog posts.

Zoom Assembly
  • On Thursday Room 3 and Room 8 will be having Zoom assemblies.
  • Make sure your parents return the consent/permission forms to Ms Greene ASAP or you will not be allowed to access these assemblies. If your parent(s) has not given an email address to Ms Greene they can fill in this form ASAP.
  • Check if your friends have sent back these forms too and remind them if they haven't yet, while they still have time! We are so excited to see you! 😁

Good morning girls!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! How did you spend your 3 days? I went for lots of walks, finished my book and made a lemon cheesecake. It was delicious!
Starting tomorrow, the teachers will be making phonecalls to all of your parents again! I'm really looking forward to talking to you all again!
Let me know if you need a hand with any of the work today, or if you have a bit of news you'd like to share, post it below! You can also email me from a parent's email address at msbehan.olv@gmail.com.
Have a great day!
Ms Behan 😊

Hello girls, how are you doing?
I hope you enjoyed the long weekend, the weather was so nice! Tell me about your weekend below!
I had a lovely few days, my dad did a barbeque, I met friends in the park to hang out (with physical distance!) and I also did nothing! Just lay in the sun, with a thick layer of sun-cream on and got some much needed Vitamin D! ☀️
Starting tomorrow, the teachers will be making phonecalls to all of your parents again! I'm really looking forward to talking to you all again!
As always if you need any help leave a comment below, even if it’s just to say hi. I’m loving your emails with photos of your work, art and projects. They make me feel so proud and happy.  If you would like to message me from a parent's email during school hours, my email is ms.jsmitholv@gmail.com
Have a lovely day!
Ms Smith 😊

Hi Ava!
I'm well, thank you for asking! I hope you are too!
There's no Better English this week or next week. Your English work for the next 2 weeks is: EIP everyday, 15 minutes of DEAR time everyday, spellings everyday, and then correct the EIP days in the blog post. Much less work than before!
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for your message!

Hi Emma!
I am doing well, thank you! I hope you are too!
There's a picture of the page from Action Maths in the June Work Pack document. If you go down to the bottom of it you should be able to see the 2 pages. The first page is for this week and the second page is for next week.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks for your message!

Hi Erin,
Sorry that link isn’t working, I’ll try fix it now. Even if the adult at home gets in contact with Ms Greene and ask about consent forms for the zoom call, I’m sure she’ll help.

Try this link and see does that work better! http://www.olvgns.ie/surveys.html

Have a good day,
Ms Smith
