Good morning to our lovely 6th class girls!
We hope you had a lovely weekend and managed to get outside for some fresh air despite the rainfall. I do think the grass needed a bit of a break from the sun and a bit of rain to quench it's thirst!
Now today is a very important day as it is the start of Phase 2 in the government's plan of reopening the country. This means that as a nation we have followed the guidelines and it is now safe for us to enter into phase two! If you watched the Taoiseach's address to the public on Friday afternoon you would of heard that this is actually Phase 2+ because the government are able to ease more restrictions than they initially thought they would - which is excellent! However, it is still important that we maintain a social distance of 2m when meeting people outside of our family homes and keep up our hand washing routines. In the comments below let us know what other new changes there are in this new phase of the lockdown. You can learn more about the new guidelines here:

On Friday we had our zoom call and it was lovely to have to see the familiar faces of rooms 1 and 6. However the attendance had slipped from the previous week which was disappointing so make sure you make the effort to log on this Friday. I know there were some technical issues for 1 or 2 of you which is fine and hopefully we will have that sorted for this week, myself included 👍👍👍
I hope some of you entered Ms.Greene's weekend communion themed challenge! I think I managed to identify most of them but one or two had me a little confused, what about you? Were you able to spot myself and Ms. Cassidy?
We know it's hard to keep motivated during this time girls and we are so proud of all the work you've done so far but let's try and keep the momentum going that bit longer, we've only 3 weeks left!?! So sign in below and do your best to get some schoolwork done today. Don't forget about your daily wellbeing task - today's one is set by Ms. Greene. Ms. Holden has also set a lovely art activity for you all as part of your daily June activity, enjoy!
Have a lovely day,
Ms. Farrell & Ms. Cassidy
