Good Morning 6th Class 💛
Yesterday evening I was inspired to watch a documentary as I was told by some parents that's what some of you are getting up to in your spare time (stellar idea by the way). So I watched a new documentary on Netflix called 'Becoming.' It was all about Michelle Obama, the former first lady of the United States of America. It was brilliant and really inspirational! The reason I love documentaries is that you're learning new information all the while sitting comfy on the couch, it's a win-win situation. If any of you girls are struggling on an individual to pick for your Inspirational Person in History Project, Michelle Obama would be an excellent choice! If any of you come across any other interesting documentaries on Netflix, YouTube etc. please comment below to share with others.
Once again a reminder to anyone who hasn't filled out the student survey to fill it out for Ms. Greene and remind your parents to fill out their one.
Remember to sign into our ROLLA system below. Fill in your full name in the boxes below and press the pink 'submit' button, please & thank you!
Now we all know that tomorrow was supposed to be a very special day for a lot of you girls. Unfortunately, things in life don't always go as planned and that is why we have to focus on the positives and what we can control. Your Confirmation Day will take place but not until it is safe to do so. The safety of our school and your family is what matters most isn't it? We found this little poem that we hope shows the real importance of a Confirmation Day.
Saturday the 9th of May,
Was set to be your Confirmation Day.
Together while staying apart we must pray
And ask that God keep us safe in every way.
Soon, you will have your big day,
It will be so special in many ways,
When we are all together to say
"May God bless you on your Confirmation Day."
Have a lovely weekend,
Ms. Farell & Ms. Cassidy
