Our last and final day with Snowflake had to be the most exciting yet. When we found her hanging like this in the morning we knew there was a lot of fun ahead.

We came in from yard and what did we find? The door between Room 1 and Room 2 was open...Rosie and Snowflake were sitting there, looking like they were planning something...but what?

We were all practcisng our Christmas carols in Room 1 when we heard a knock on the door. A special delievery from Rosie and Snowflake all the way from the North Pole - LINDT CHOCOLATE REINDEER!! We really are the luckiest second class in all of Ireland!!

And of course it would not be Christmas without a special visit from the big man in the red suit!! HO, HO, HO, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Yesterday we performed our Christmas show 'Rock around the flock' for our friends and family. This morning we arrived in school to find another surprise. Thank you Snowflake x

After the weekend we arrived back in school to find Snowflake with this letter. We are sorry Snowflake, but school is closed at the weekend :(

Luckily, one of the girls brought in a friend to keep Snowflake company.

And.....you won't believe it!! Santa sent an Elf to Room 1. He must have known how lonely Snowflake was feeling after we all went home. They decided to call her Rosie.

That naughty little Elf ate all of the chocolates our Tennis coach Louise left for the class. I think some one may have a sore belly this morning.

Lazy Snowflake!! We found her all snuggled up under her blanket this morning. We had to be extra quiet all day to make sure we did not wake up our sleepy elf.

Snowflake made a new friend :)

She also arrived with this envelope from the North Pole. Inside were blank pages and a letter from Santa, asking us to write our letters to him with our Christmas wish list.

We thought long and hard about what to put on our letters and when we were happy, we placed them back in the envelope and left them with snowflake to dliever safely back to Santa.

WOW!! What a surprise to find our Elf, Snowflake sitting on top of the whiteboard with this sign. She loves her name so much that she left lots of snowflakes and letters around the classroom.

One of the girls also made Snowflake her own house. 

On Monday, the 1st of December, we got a really big surprise in Room 2. Mrs. Shannon arrived to the door with a special package addressed to our class. We were so excited.

When we opened the package we found a magic elf and a letter from.............SANTA!!!!!!!!!!

Santa told us that this Magic elf would watch over us in our classroom and report back to him every night to tell him how well we behaved. We were warned not to touch the elf or she would loose her magic. We left her in the book and went out to play in yard. 

When we came back, we could not believe what had happened!!! Our magic elf had come out of her box and was now sitting by teacher's desk on some comfy kitchen roll.

In the afternoon, we worked together to choose a special name for our Magic Elf. 

We called her Snowflake.
