On Wednesday 30th November some members of 4th class were lucky enough to participate in a Basketball Blitz held in Poppintree Community Centre. The girls had a great time! They played teams from Holy Spirit G.N.S., St. Joseph's N.S. and Virgin Mary G.N.S. Despite the fact that our girls did not win the overall trophy, they played really well and were each awarded with a medal from Sports Across Ireland. A special thanks goes to the basketball coaches for all their hard work during the term.
