Happy holidays everybody!!
Well the 26th of June has arrived!
What an extraordinary school year this was.I think we used the word "unprecedented" back in March on the day we all left OLV so suddenly...not thinking that we would still be closed in June! We all genuinely felt it was just for a few weeks.
Here we are now. The day of the summer holidays!! It's all definitely an event for the history books of the future. We could all write our own experience of the last three and a half months (goodness it's feels much longer than that)and compile our own hisSTORY book!!
I wish you and your families a lovely holiday. You have worked so hard you deserve a break from all the school work.
'Looking forward to seeing you all later this morning on Zoom.
I especially look forward you seeing you in person in SIXTH CLASS!!
Happy Holidays each and everyone of you,
Ms.Bourke

Good morning girls,
It is hard to believe that today is your last day of 5th class. What a different 5th class experience you have had. Little did we know, on the 12th of March that this would be your last day in school until you were in 6th class.
Girls, I can't emphasis how proud I am of you all. Each one of you has done your best, working so hard under the strangest of circumstances. These life skills will help you so much when you start in secondary school. I hope you are proud of yourselves.
Also your parents are owed a big THANK YOU. They have stepped in as teacher, when we couldn't be together in the classroom. They have answered your questions, encouraged you and supported you. I would like to say a big thank you to each of your parents for their support and help this year.
I also want to say a big thank you to Ms Crowe, who looks after us all so well. She brings such positivity to room 4 and always makes sure that we are all doing ok.
So girls it has been a privilege to teach you this year. Your hard work, enthusiasm and sense of fun have made my job so much enjoyable. There are lots of memories that we have shared in our short year together, Christmas play, Molli, Fighting Words and lots more. These are memories that we will treasure.
Enjoy your well deserved summer holidays. Remember to be safe, think of your social distancing. Hopefully I will see you all later.
Take care
Ms O'Dea
