HappyGood morning girls,
.
And what a morning it is, I can hear the birds chirping and see the sun shining. It would put you in a good mood!! Did any of you see the lovely moon last night? It was amazing. Here is a link to some beautiful pictures on the RTE website, https://www.rte.ie/news/newslens/2020/0508/1137199-supermoon/
I must say I have really enjoyed talking to you all this week. It was great to hear how you were all keeping and also that you were working very hard. I really am incredibly proud of you all and you should be very proud of yourselves too.
So today's challenge is a Length Scavenger Hunt! So I need you to find me the following things they could be in your house or they could be in the garden, it is up to you;
- Something that is 10cm long
- Something this is the same length as a remote control
- Something that is longer than 20cm but shorter than 1 metre
- Something that is approximately the same length as your thumb
Have a lovely weekend and take care,
Ms O'Dea
Happy Friday Everybody!!
I am a little late this morning.First I slept late,and then ..I was in the middle of typing when my cat decided to walk across the keyboard.
Obviously I had to START AGAIN!
As Ms O Dea said its a beautiful morning out there. So when you have finished your schoolwork I hope you have an oppportunity to get outside for a little exercise and sunshine.( We need our Vitamin D for our immune systems!!)
I was shopping yesterday and bought lots of fruit and veg. You know how I love salads! I hope you are all drinking those healthy smoothies you were bringing before Easter.. and eating lots of veg..it helps keep our immune systems healthy...so important nowadays.So keep up the HEALTHY EATING policy we have in OLV at home!
Put some recipes on the class blog??
