4th class attended the Global Goals conference in Croke Park! We learned lots about 5 of the Global Goals: Zero Hunger, Reduced Inequalities, Gender Equality, Responsible Production and Consumption and Climate Action!
We wrote down and decorated our hopes for gender equality by 2030!
We worked hard on a quiz about responsible production and fair trade practices!
We wrote down what we most wanted to see achieved by 2030!
We learned lots of different ways we can take climate action to help the planet! A really interesting one was how to reduce food waste. We learned that we should try to buy only what we need, use up our leftovers if we can, and look at the "use by" dates instead of the "best before" date! These are some simple ways we will be able to reduce our food waste!
