Last week 5th class learned lots of interesting facts about the Vikings from a knowledgeable historian named Michael Moylan! He came to visit with lots of fabulous artefacts, including swords, spears and shields. After his exciting talk we were even allowed to hold the items and dress up in Viking attire! We found the afternoon thoroughly enjoyable and it has renewed our interest in History. Below are pictures from the day!

Last term 5th class learned about the Solar System. Inspired by all the fascinating facts we learned, we decided to create our own planets using recycled items and lots of imagination! The results ranged from Planet TV to Planet Dazzle! Some girls chose to recreate the real Solar Sytem and their projects were breathtaking.
