We made some cool Easter bunnies in class this week. We experimented with different lines and patterns to decorate our bunnies. We put some stylish glasses on them too!
We had lot's of fun using Ms. Farrell's old CDs to print some beautiful flower scenes. We worked in groups to create these collaborative creations.
Today we decided to make the most of the dry weather and make a trip to the playground in Albert College park. The best part...we had the playground all to ourselves! We were so well behaved and practiced good manners and the safe cross code. We also picked out lots of signs of spring like the daffodils and spotted some amazing nests in the trees. Let's hope the nice weather keeps up so that we can make use of the beautiful amenities in our local area!
This week we made some beautiful paper bouquets to celebrate Mother's Day! The girls had such wonderful things to say about their mums. We hope all the mammys had a special day!
All the girls in Room 4 were so lucky last week that they got the chance to visit Santa's Grotto and got a lovely present of a Christmas Annual and a Selection Box. A big thank you to Ms Rooney, Ms Harvey and Ms Greene for organising such a fantastic day!!
The girls in OLV were so lucky to get the chance to visit the wonderful Santa's Grotto to receive a Christmas annual and selection box. Ms. Harvey and Ms. Rooney had put so much time and effort into creating the grotto and even took the next step to dress up for Santa's Grotto day! The girls had a great time and we hope they enjoyed their little present.
On Wednesday 2nd December we went Walking in a Winter Wonderland all around the local area. The girls were absolutely brilliant and were so mannerly to all our passers by. We were blessed with a lovely sunny day and we were all dressed up in our festive gear. When we arrived back to the school Ms. Greene had organised a hot chocolate party in the yard - the smiling faces in these pictures says it all! ☺️
We decided to make the most of the fallen leaves all around us to help us create some beautiful autumnal prints. The girls worked together to collect a range of beautiful leaves. We brought them back into the classroom and used them as a stencil to create some prints. We all had a great time!
