Hi girls,
I have great news for you. The woman who wrote our Weaving Well-being programme rang me yesterday and she has made a special home journal for you to use while the school is closed. Click here to take a look at it https://indd.adobe.com/view/5237deef-2311-469f-9e2d-b5ee89c2000f. Just take a look for now. The teachers are going to add it to their plans for you for after the Easter hols in case we are still closed. You won't need a printer so don't worry! The last two days have been totally manic for me in my little office! I have been organising food packages for families, answering calls from the department of education and the emails just keep rolling in with different jobs to do! I wish I was back in school with all of you! Ok ladies, I've got to get moving on these emails here! Slán, Ms Greene Good afternoon ladies,
Well I've had a whirlwind of a morning answering calls, sending emails and talking to Ms Durnin about a million and one things! Oh and I also fell for an April Fools joke..... my brother put a message in our family Whatsapp group that Ireland had been rewarded the Six Nations title this year! And you all know how much I love rugby- I fell for it hook, line and sinker- I'm such a wally! When I realised it was 1st April 2020, that made think about the Ceremony of Light we should be having tonight with our fabulous 6th Class girls, in preparation for their Confirmation. I'm so sad that it can't happen today. but we have to make sure we flatten the curve and keep everyone safe. I just don't know yet if the Confirmation or the Communion ceremonies will be cancelled- Fr Frank is waiting to hear news from Archbishop's House. So I picked my winners of the food art challenge and you'll see their creations below! Well done to Lucy, Áine, Erin and Dominika! Great work girls- WAY better than my effort! I'll have prizes waiting for you when we get back to school! Slán gach duine, Ms Greene |
