After some tryouts, a select few girls were picked to compete in an athletics competition. They worked with Ms. Lavin and Ms. Haughton during their training a few weeks before the event. All the girls did so well in each event they participated in, and we even had a student take first place in the long jump, which was completely new to her. We are so proud of every one of the girls!

Our Senior GAA team comprised of both 5th and 6th class worked hard in training and matches and reached the semi-finals of the Fingal League. We are so proud of their dedication to the sport and school! We cannot wait to see how you all progress in the future of GAA. You are all superstars in our eyes! Over the weekend, our amazing sixth-class girls made their confirmation. It was a lovely ceremony that the Bishop of Dublin performed alongside Father Frank of Our Lady of Victories Church. Our super OLV girl choir, consisting of 3rd, 4th, and 5th-class girls, performed stunning hymns and songs throughout the ceremony, with Ms. Greene as the choirmaster. They closed the ceremony with ‘Praise You’, and their talent blew away everyone at the church! |
