New School Tracksuit

22/7/2026

As you know we will introduce a more modern tracksuit in the 2026/27 school year. The successful tender came from Balon Sports, who also provide sportwear in our local community.

Next year will be a 'transition year' as we know there is a long-standing tradition of older sisters passing on tracksuits to their younger siblings, so please don't feel pressure to buy a new tracksuit immediately.
Under the tracksuit the children are now required to wear a plain white round-necked t-shirt. The usual footwear of suitable runners for outdoor activities are required. Children cannot wear crocs/uggs etc to school.

Tracksuits will be on sale in the school hall on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th August (times to be confirmed). They can also be ordered online via this link-

June Assembly & Student vs. Teacher fun!

22/6/2026

Today we held a special school assembly to celebrate our 6th Class girls as they prepare to graduate from primary school tomorrow. The assembly recognised their excellent attendance, with awards presented for attendance during the April to June term, for perfect attendance throughout the month of June, and for those who have not missed a single day of school since the beginning of the academic year and principal awards. We also presented our first ever Principal awards, with the recipients nominated by our SNAs in recognition of their kindness, positive attitude, effort and contribution to school life. It was wonderful to acknowledge the commitment and dedication shown by all of the girls throughout the year.

We also marked the retirement of a much-loved teacher Ms. Brennan, in a truly memorable way. Past pupils returned to surprise her, presenting flowers and current pupils sharing their appreciation for the positive impact she has had on so many lives. The celebration concluded with the entire school singing together in her honour, creating a heart warming and emotional moment that will be treasured by all who attended. It was a lovely occasion for our school community to come together and celebrate both a special farewell and an exciting new chapter for our 6th Class girls.

To round off the day, the whole school gathered in the yard for some fun and friendly competition between the teachers and the 6th Class girls. There was plenty of laughter during a tug-of-war challenge that didn't quite go to plan, followed by an enjoyable basketball 'donkey' match. It was a fantastic way to end a memorable day, filled with fun, smiles, and special memories for everyone involved.

Our school choir joined the boys choir this year to sing at the recent Confirmation ceremony. They all worked hard to prepare a beautiful selections of hymns and songs, helping to create a meaningful and joyful atmosphere. We are very proud of the choir members for their wonderful singing and contribution to such an important day!

Celebrating Success

At our school assembly, we take great pride in celebrating the many achievements of our pupils inside and outside the classroom. We recognise their hard work, dedication, and talents across a wide range of activities, including singing, rugby, Irish dancing, GAA, gymnastics, taekwondo, arts and crafts, running, and swimming. It is always wonderful to hear about their accomplishments, whether they have won medals, performed on stage, represented their clubs, or simply shown commitment and perseverance in developing their skills. These celebrations inspire us all and remind us of the importance of effort, teamwork, and striving to do out best!

Huge congratulations goes to our Senior GAA Team, under the guidance of Ms Siobhán Ferriter, who reached the FIngal League final for the second time in the history of the school.

The whole squad of players helped to get us to the final and the team on the day played absolutely brilliantly. We were so proud of them all.

Our school loved supporting the team. Everyone cheered for the players and showed great school spirit and pride. The teams hard work, dedications, and teamwork inspire everyone, and it wonderful to see them represent our school and themselves so well. Supporting the team in the final was a memorable experience  that bring the school community together and encourages a strong sense of belonging and achievement.
