When we came into school, we saw so many different costumes! They were all unique and amazing! When we came through the gate, we were waiting to go inside. We saw all the teachers dressed up in Snow White costumes. Some costumes that other students were dressed up as Dogman, Gangsta Granny, Lorax, Dork Diaries, princesses, and Things 1 and 2.
We had to go to the hall for a costume parade when we entered the school. Ms Greene, Ms Evans and Ms Rooney were picking their favourite costumes. They picked one/or a group costume from each class that they thought stood out! The winners got a coupon for a cookie tray! YUM! The winners' costumes were Ratatouille from the book Ratatouille, Dog Man from the book Dogman, a cowboy from My Life with the Walter Boys, First Aid Manual, the Lorax from the book called the Lorax, Simone Biles, kids from The Bua na Cainte book, Mary Poppins and Ms Trunchbull and many more amazing costumes!
We also took a quiz on books. We had to find out who was reading, what they were reading, and who the author was! We had so much fun!!
We had an amazing time. At the end of the day, we got apple slices covered in Nutella. We could have put marshmallows on them if we wanted. We also had a half hour of dear time!
We had so much fun and can not wait until next year !!
