Good morning Zoomers!

I am so looking forward to seeing you all this morning on our Zoom Call!

Yesterday I spent all day in OLV and mainly in room 9. We were moving tables,measuring distances and generally sorting and cleaning.I felt  I had done several workouts in a sauna between all the lifting,carrying and going up and down the stairs in that muggy heat !!
We had our lunch in the  hall...all of us practicing social distancing sitting!! Ms Greene had ordered pizzas, they were delicious! It was great to actually see everybody again.. We were just interacting with each other on Zoom since the closure..just like with yourselves. 
I hope you are all enjoying the daily activities and the reduced workload of course! Keep one eye on the Well Being activities too .As we heard on the last Zoomchat you will some that will become  a daily practise.

Hi girls,

It's Zoom Day!! I can't wait to see you girls later. 

It was so lovely to see all the teachers yesterday. It was funny having to queue to make a cup of tea outside the staff room though!! There was lots of cleaning and moving and clearing yesterday. I had 10,000 steps done in no time!!

I think that I have put up all the answers for EIP and MM that you girls have completed. I will check with you later on the Zoom call.

Hello everybody!

Did you hear the rain early this morning? The earth will be delighted ,after all the dry weather!

I am going in to the school building today with all the teachers.We are organising the the classrooms for when September so it will be safe for us all when we return. We will be doing practical maths this morning, measuring,and dividing this in OLV!! WE are all VERY FAMILIAR now with how long 2 metres is!!

We are looking forward to our virtual classroom tomorrow in Zoom. Remember to bring a pencil/paper and some paper to write on as we have some fun activities..if we get time after all the chat!!

Do you hear that rain outside, we need rain with the hosepipe ban so hopefully this will help.

The teachers are going in to school today, to organise our classrooms. It will be like a game of tetris with desks as we figure out the best and safest way for you girls to sit in the classroom.

  HELLO GIRLS!!

Wasn't yesterday a lovely day! I hope you all got outside for a time.Today is going to be sunny too. 

I spent the evening with a friend Out The Back. With these lovely evenings its easy to have a friend over and socially distance outside.I am so thankful for my little garden! I am going to do the same today while the weather is so lovely.

Are you enjoying Ms.O Dea's activities? I think they are just perfect for these last two weeks of school.

Morning girls,

Wasn't yesterday, just a lovely day. I went for a swim yesterday afternoon and it was just lovely. Today isn't looking as sunny but you never know. 

How are you getting on with the work pack for this fortnight? There is less work as it is the last two weeks of school and the activities are short and fun! You might have noticed that there are no spellings and that instead of doing EIP and MM we want you to correct them. So girls make sure that you start correcting your EIP and MM, if you haven't, start with today's correction. After your have corrected it make sure that you take note of two things you did really well in your EIP and MM and one thing that you found challenging. Today you are correcting EIP p 66 & 67 day 130 - 132  and MM P 98 - 100 week 33. You only have 3 days of EIP to correct because you should have correct day 129 yesterday.

Also today, I have set the well being task, it is a nice relaxing one of listening to an audio book. Also Ms Fleming has set some lovely science experiments.

Good Monday Morning Girls!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Just one more Monday left before we get our holidays! Ms. O Dea has  put up some lovely English activities for these last few weeks for you all. She felt you needed a change after all of your hard work since March.I think you will really enjoy them! Thank you Ms. O Dea!!
It's supposed to be a lovely sunny day today. Remember to get out for some Vitamin D and exercise at some stage. I''m going out for a long walk myself shortly before it gets too hot!

Morning girls,

I am just back from a walk and what a beautiful morning it is. It is so warm out! So make sure you get out and enjoy the sun.

Today Ms Greene has put up your work for the next two weeks. As it is the last two weeks of school, there are some fun activities to do! We are also going to look at some poetry this week. Make sure that you correct your EIP and MM as well.  As ever just try your best.

What a wet Friday this is! 

Wasn't it great to see everybody on Zoom yesterday....in our virtual classroom? A big THANK YOU to everybody for coming and especially for those who came for the first time. It's such a lovely way for us all to keep in touch with the actual school closed.

I was delighted to hear so many of you girls are engaging with the Wellbeing activities.Indeed many of you are meditating and finding this particularly useful. It's a great tool to have in life.

On this wet Friday you might enjoy one of the Daily Activities you haven't had a chance to look at. They are really fun and interesting!
