Morning ladies:

Happy Friday! Last day of homeschooling this week – well done you on completing another week of work!

Just before we look at today’s timetable …….we can look forward to another Zoom assembly this Monday coming, the 15th  June! We can’t wait to see you all again and have a chat. You might even bring along something to show us – something you made at home, something you enjoyed doing / making, a piece of schoolwork you did during lockdown that you’re really proud of or your favourite piece of schoolwork / project completed at home so far.
The most important thing is to remember to bring yourself!!

If you have permission to join in, Ms. Durnin will be in touch with your parents and give them all the details.
Ms. Holden’s zoom assembly will take place at 10:30 and Ms. Callinan’s at 11 o’clock, just like this week’s assembly!
*Just a little note – Ms. Callinan will be ‘hosting’ both assemblies and ‘admitting you in’, in case you’re wondering , but both teachers will be at both assemblies and will manage their own class assembly. You might also see some other teachers popping in to say hello!

Monday 8th June

8/6/2020

Good morning girls!
Happy Monday!

We were thinking of you all in a special way yesterday, as some of you should have celebrated your First Holy Communion day. Did you celebrate in some way yesterday? We’d love to hear how you got on!! Both myself and Ms. Holden said a special prayer for you all at 12 o’clock and we sent well wishes to the girls who would not have celebrated their First Holy Communion.

Today is an exciting day for us as we get to have our first Zoom assembly! Imagine girls!! We’re used to sitting in our lines in the hall and watching and listening to Ms. Greene standing in front of the stage. Now we will sit on our chairs in our homes but isn’t it just great that we can all come together again and see each other! I don’t know about you, but I am going to make sure I am using all my listening skills for this special and different kind of  assembly!!

As  a special treat for the weekend that was just in it and also no doubt 2nd classes will be the best behaved class during their Zoom assembly, we are giving you a mini schoolwork pass for today! Yippee!!! It is well deserved! (No pass for Ms. Callinan or Ms. Holden because I predict they will be too giddy at assembly as they are soooooooo excited about seeing you all!)
So, before or after assembly today, this will be your timetable :

1. English : Read Chap. 14 ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’
2. Maths : Pg. 128 Busy at Maths
3. Well-being task
4. Ms. Holden’s super art activity!

And that’s it! Of course, you are more than welcome to follow today’s plan of work on the website if you want to! Don’t forget to comment on the blog – say hi, tell us how you are getting on, ask a question! You can always contact us at [email protected] and [email protected]  if there are further questions.

See you soon girls!
Ms. Callinan and Ms. Holden.
