Over the past month we have been focusing on the writing genre of explanation. One of our 2nd class pupils enjoyed writing in this genre so much that she decided to continue her work at home. She wrote this excellent explanation about her Worry Robot Lilly and even brought Lilly in to the classroom. Keep up the great work :)
Title: Lilly
Definition: Lilly is a robot that if people have worries, she can give help.
Description: She has green eyes, hot pink lips, a tissue nose, orange hair, colourful hands and two plastic bottles for legs. If you are worried or somebody is being mean to you or anything else happens, you can tell the robot and she sends the message to God. But first you must pray and whisper to her so that nobody would hear what you say.
Conclusion: I hope you would use my worry robot [Lilly] if you want make one believe me it is so hard.
