As we have been working so hard all year we were treated to a very special trip to Tayto Park. We were joined by 3rd, 3rd/4th and 4th class. We  had such a good day.

All year we have been so busy preparing for our First Holy Communion and on the 18th of May we celebrated our special day in O.L.V Church with Fr. Colm. 

This month we have been focusing on the theme of transport. As it was such a nice day today, we went outside to complete a transport survey. We sat outside for 10 minutes and recorded all the different types of vehicles that passed by. When we went back in side we discussed which form of transport was the most common and why we thought this was the case.

We also took part in the Hi-Glo-Silver Campaign and all took a pledge to always be seen when travelling on the roads.

We had lots of fun celebrating Easter in Room 2. We went on an Easter egg hunt in the Infant School yard and got some yummy treats for finding the eggs. We had a big assembly in the hall where we had an Easter bonnet competition and a Best Dressed Egg competition. Take a look at some of our creations.
