school tour martry mill and causey farm

This year 6th class went on their school tour to Martry Mill and Causey Farm. At the mill they collected flour which they used to make brown bread at Casuey Farm. They had great fun getting the tractor and trailer down to the bog and jumping in. confirmation april 16th

My Confirmation Day by Jennifer Ta

On Saturday the 16th April I woke up at 6.15am and got my hair and make-up done. My dress was a light mint green with three flowers in the middle. It was a long dress.

My family and I arrived at the church at 10.30am. before the ceremony started my cousins and godparents arrived and we took a few pictures and videos. I also took a few selfies and pictures with my friends. The ceremony began and during the ceremony I got to bring the holy bread up to the priest and bishop.

The ceremony was over and my family, cousins, godparents and I went outside the OLV church and we took some more family photos.

Later we all drove to Ming Court, a Chinese restaurant near Blanchardstown and we had our dinner. After dinner we went to Botanic Garden and took some more photos!

When wer were all about to leave Botanic Garden, my godparents, cousins and grandparents gave me a card. They told me to be careful because there's money in it.

Later we all went back home and I was a wreck. I was so tired and my jaw started to hurt because I was smiling and laughing so much. I went straight up to bed and relaxed for the rest of the day. It was the best day ever!

On Monday we had our photoshoot in school. After the photo shoot I gave Sadbh a lift to Blanchardstown.

There we met Lauren and Kelly. We all started shopping in Penneys and shopped our way all around Blanchardstown! Around 4 o'clock we all went home. sdadbh gave me a lift home. I spent nearly €100!

6th class did projects on the 1916 Easter
Rising. The projects were a mixture of
individual and collaborate work. The girls included text, illustrations, quizes and crosswords in their projects

Trip to Botanic gardens

We had our last annual trip to the Botanic Gardes to see the Scultures in Context Exhibition. Veronica was our tour guide.
